UPSSSC Enforcement Constable 2023: Document Upload / DV Stage

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is filling 477 posts of Enforcement Constable, also called Pravartan Sipahi, under Advertisement No. 04-Exam/2023, for the Office of the Transport Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The recruitment has now reached the document verification (DV) stage. UPSSSC released the document-upload notice on 08 July 2026. Who Must Upload Documents Now

Only the 3,165 candidates who cleared the main written exam and then passed the physical test (Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test) are shortlisted for document verification. Pay Scale

The official notification lists the pay for Enforcement Constable as Pay Matrix Level 2, under Pay Band ₹5,200–20,200 with Grade Pay ₹1,900. We show only the pay level stated in the notice. Eligibility: Age and Qualification

Educational qualification: the candidate must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) exam of the U.P. Board (Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) or an equivalent recognised exam. A valid UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) 2022 score card was required to apply, and the candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Age limit (as on 01 July 2023): minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. Candidates from SC, ST and other notified categories get upper-age relaxation as per Uttar Pradesh rules.

Physical Standards

Enforcement Constable is a field job, so candidates must meet the minimum physical standards set in the notification.

Male candidates must show a minimum chest expansion of 5 cm. Candidates also have to pass the Physical Efficiency Test (running) held by the commission; the exact running distance and time are given in the official notification.

Selection Process

Selection for this post is done in these steps:

1. UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) 2022 score — the qualifying step to apply.
2. Main written examination (held on 11 May 2025).
