KadamSetu (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates www.kadamsetu.com, an independent information website about Indian government job (Sarkari Naukri) notifications, results, admit cards and answer keys. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.kadamsetu.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

You do not need an account or to share any personal details to read content on KadamSetu.

• Usage & device data (collected automatically): like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Through cookies and similar technologies it collects data such as your approximate location (city/region, derived from your IP address — your full IP is not shown to us), device and browser type, operating system, the pages you view, time on page, and the site or search that referred you. This is aggregate, statistical data used to improve our content and performance.
• Information you choose to provide: if you email us (for example to report a wrong date or a broken link), we receive your email address and your message, used only to reply and fix the issue.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use:

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, e.g. _ga) to measure traffic and usage.
• Advertising cookies — if and when we show ads (e.g. via Google AdSense), our partners may use cookies to display relevant ads. We will update this policy before enabling ads.

Official links & hosted document copies

Every external link on KadamSetu points to an official government source (.gov.in / .nic.in and official board sites); we are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those external sites — please read their own policies.

For faster access on high-traffic days, KadamSetu may also host a copy (mirror) of a publicly published official document — such as a result, merit list, notification, cut-off or answer key — always alongside a link to the official source. These are documents the government has already published for everyone. We do not host login-protected, per-candidate scorecards or marksheets. A hosted merit list may contain data (such as roll numbers) that the issuing authority has itself made public; we serve these copies without search-engine indexing, retain them only for a limited period after the relevant recruitment cycle, and then remove them — or sooner on a valid request (see the copyright & takedown policy on our Disclaimer page).

Data retention

Aggregate analytics data is kept per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your query.

Your rights

Subject to your location (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Children’s privacy

KadamSetu is intended for job seekers (generally adults). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
