HSSC Group D CET 2026 — Overview
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is the state body that recruits staff for the Haryana Government. HSSC has released the Group D Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2026 under Advertisement No. 05/2026. A Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a single common exam. You clear it once and then you become eligible to be shortlisted for many different Group D posts across Haryana Government departments, boards and corporations.
This is a qualifying test. It means HSSC did not release a fixed number of posts with this notice. The exact number of Group D vacancies, department-wise and post-wise, will be announced by HSSC later in separate advertisements. So please treat any "total posts" number you see on other websites as an estimate only, not an official figure.
The online application form was open from 19 June 2026 and the last date to apply was 5 July 2026 (the date was extended once). The fee payment window stays open till 8 July 2026, and you can correct your form details between 9 and 11 July 2026. After that, HSSC will release the admit card and the exam schedule on its official website.

A few specific posts (like Sweeper or Chowkidar) may have their own relaxed conditions, which HSSC will list in the later post-wise advertisement.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 42 years, counted as on 03 July 2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC, BC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, and others) is given as per Haryana Government rules. Please read the official notification PDF for the exact relaxation that applies to your category.
Application Fee
The fee depends on your category and on whether your application is linked with your Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) / Aadhaar. Candidates who applied earlier under a previous HSSC CET are exempt from paying the fee again. The fee tables for both cases are shown above this article. Payment is online only — you can use a debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The last date to pay the fee is 8 July 2026.
Selection Process
The selection is done through the following stages:
| Stage | What Happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Written Examination (CET) | An objective type written test. Your CET score decides your shortlisting. |
| 2. Document Verification | Shortlisted candidates verify their certificates and documents. |
| 3. Medical Examination | A medical fitness check before final selection. |
The exam date, exam pattern and syllabus will be shared by HSSC through the admit card and exam-notice on its official website. We will update this page the moment the schedule is out.
