Haryana HTET 2026 Answer Key — Overview
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) holds the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). This test decides who is eligible to become a teacher in government schools of Haryana. BSEH held the written exam on 4 and 5 July 2026 and released the answer key on 6 July 2026.
The answer key shows the correct answer for every question. You can match it with your own responses and get a good idea of your marks before the final result is out. The result date is not announced yet, so check the official website from time to time.
HTET Exam Levels and Eligibility
HTET is held at three levels. Pick the level that matches the teaching post you want.
| Level | Post | Basic Eligibility |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | PRT (Primary Teacher, Classes 1–5) | Senior secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and a passed or ongoing 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). |
| Level 2 | TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher, Classes 6–8) | Bachelor's degree with 50% marks and B.Ed or Special B.Ed. |
| Level 3 | PGT (Post Graduate Teacher / Lecturer) | Master's degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. |

How to Raise an Objection
If you think any answer in the key is wrong, BSEH gives a short window to raise an objection. For HTET 2026 this window is open from 6 July to 9 July 2026. Log in through the official candidate login, choose the question you disagree with, and upload your proof. Read the official answer key notice first for the objection fee and the exact rules. The board checks every valid objection before it prepares the final answer key and result.
What Happens After the Answer Key
After the objection window closes, BSEH reviews all objections and then prepares the final answer key and the result. Candidates who score the required qualifying marks get the HTET pass certificate. This certificate makes you eligible to apply for teacher posts in Haryana government schools.
Application Fee — Quick Note
During the application stage, the fee depended on how many levels a candidate applied for, not on which single level. Applying for one level cost the least, and the amount went up for two levels or for all three levels together. The exact amount for each choice is shown in the Application Fee box above. SC and PH candidates of Haryana paid a lower fee, while candidates from other states paid the General fee. Payment was made online through debit card, credit card, net banking, IMPS or a mobile wallet.
About HTET
HTET stands for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test. It is an eligibility test, not a direct recruitment. So it does not carry a fixed number of vacancies or a pay scale. Passing HTET only means you are eligible to apply when a teacher recruitment notice is released. Because it is an eligibility test, there is no upper age limit to appear in the exam.
