CBSE Skill Test Admit Card 2026 — Overview

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held a Direct Recruitment drive to fill 124 Group A, B and C posts under advertisement number CBSE/Rectt.Cell/14(88)/2025. The written exams (Tier 1 and Tier 2) are over, and the process has now moved to the Skill Test stage. CBSE has released the exam city information and the skill test admit card for the shortlisted candidates.

Only candidates who qualified the earlier written tiers are called for the skill test. The skill test admit card (call letter) is compulsory to enter the exam centre. You must download it from the official CBSE recruitment portal using the link given in the Important Links table above.

Eligibility (Qualification and Age)

The required qualification changes from post to post. In simple terms:

  • Group A posts (Assistant Secretary, Accounts Officer, Assistant Professor, Director): a Bachelor's or Post-Graduate degree in the related subject, usually with the minimum marks stated in the notice.
  • Group B posts (Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer): a Bachelor's degree with the relevant subject or language skills.
  • Group C posts (Junior Accountant, Junior Assistant): 12th class (Senior Secondary) pass with the required typing and computer skills.

The upper age limit goes up to 35 years and changes from post to post, counted as on 22 December 2025. Age relaxation is given to reserved categories as per government rules. For the exact qualification and age of each post, please read the official recruitment notification.

Pay Level (Salary)

The selected candidates are paid as per the 7th Pay Commission pay levels shown in the vacancy table above — from Pay Level 2 for the junior posts up to Pay Level 10 for the officer posts. CBSE pays the pay level exactly as stated in the official notification; no in-hand figure is promised here.

What is the Skill Test?

The skill test checks the practical skill needed for the post. For the clerical and accounts posts (Group C) it is mainly a typing speed and computer proficiency test. It is a qualifying stage — you must pass it to stay in the selection. Only candidates who cleared the written exams are called for this test.

  2. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (or password) as asked.
  3. Your skill test admit card opens on the screen. Check every detail carefully.
  4. Download the admit card and take a clear printout on A4 paper.
