RBI Grade B 2026 Phase 1 Result - Overview
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the central bank of the country. It runs the Grade B Officer exam every year to recruit officers in three cadres - General, DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research), and DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management). For the 2026 panel year, RBI issued Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27 to fill 60 Officer posts in Grade B.

Selection Process
The selection for the General cadre has three stages. The DEPR and DSIM cadres also follow a multi-stage process. The stages are:
- Phase 1 (Prelims): An online objective test. This is a screening test. The result of this stage is now out.
- Phase 2 (Mains): A written exam with objective and descriptive papers. This is scheduled for 25 and 26 July 2026.
- Interview: Candidates who clear Phase 2 are called for the interview. The final merit list is prepared from the Phase 2 and interview marks together.
