UP B.Ed JEE 2026 Counselling — Overview

UP B.Ed JEE (Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education Joint Entrance Examination) is a state-level entrance test for admission to the two-year B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) course. For the 2026 session, Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi is the conducting body. Students who passed the written exam on 31 May 2026 and were listed in the result on 16 June 2026 can now take part in the counselling that started on 1 July 2026. B.Ed seats are offered across many state universities and their affiliated colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

• You must hold a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree from a recognised university.
• You need at least 50% marks in the qualifying degree.
• If you qualified through a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology, you need at least 55% marks.
• The official notice does not set any upper age limit for UP B.Ed JEE 2026.

Application Fee and Payment Mode

General, OBC and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates paid ₹1,650 as the regular fee, while SC and ST candidates paid ₹850. A higher late fee applied after the regular window closed. The fee was paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan. The exact category-wise fee is shown in the fee box above.

Participating Universities

UP B.Ed JEE 2026 admission covers B.Ed seats in a large number of state universities across Uttar Pradesh and the colleges affiliated to them. These include well-known names such as the University of Lucknow, Bundelkhand University (Jhansi), and universities in Agra, Bareilly, Varanasi, Kanpur and Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), among others. You choose your preferred colleges during the counselling choice-filling step.

How UP B.Ed JEE 2026 Counselling Works

1. Counselling registration: Qualified candidates register for counselling and pay the counselling fee, if it is asked.
2. Choice filling: Add and set the order of your preferred universities and colleges.
3. Seat allotment: A seat is allotted based on your rank, your category and the choices you filled.
4. Document check and fee payment: Confirm the allotted seat and pay the admission fee.
5. Reporting: Report to the allotted college with your original documents to complete the admission.

Counselling is held in rounds. If you do not get a seat in one round, you can wait for the next round or a mop-up round, as announced by the university.

Documents Needed for Counselling

Keep clear scans and the original copies of these documents ready before you start counselling:

• UP B.Ed JEE 2026 rank card / score card and admit card
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Graduation (and post-graduation, if any) mark sheets and degree certificate
• Category certificate (SC / ST / OBC) or EWS certificate, if it applies to you
• Domicile / residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh, if asked
• Photo ID proof (Aadhaar card / PAN card / voter ID)
• Recent passport-size photographs

How to Check Your Result and Join Counselling

1. Open the official counselling login link given in the Important Links table above.
2. Log in with your registration number or application number and your password or date of birth.
3. Download your score card and check your rank.
4. Complete the counselling registration and fill your college choices before the deadline.
5. Download and save the seat-allotment letter once your seat is allotted.
