CUET UG 2026 Final Answer Key: Overview

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses, known as CUET UG. It is a single entrance test used for admission to undergraduate programmes in 47 participating central universities. For the 2026 cycle, the NTA has released the final answer key, and the CUET UG 2026 result has also been declared.

The final answer key is the last, corrected version of the correct answers. The NTA uses it to prepare and confirm each candidate's result. Once the final answer key is out, the scores cannot change. Provisional Answer Key vs Final Answer Key

The NTA follows a two-step answer key process so that candidates get a fair chance to point out any mistake:

• Provisional answer key: Released first, on 9 June 2026. Along with it, candidates could see their recorded responses (response sheet) and the question paper.
• Objection window: After the provisional key, the NTA opened a short window for candidates to challenge any answer they felt was wrong, by paying a small objection fee for each question.
• Final answer key: Released on 21 June 2026 after the NTA experts reviewed all objections. The result is based only on this final key.

2. The answer key PDF opens on the official NTA server.
3. Check the answers subject-wise using the question IDs and answer IDs given in the file.
4. Save or print the PDF for your records.

How to Check the CUET UG 2026 Result / Scorecard

1. Open the "Check Result / Score Card (Login)" link from the Important Links table above.
2. Enter your Application Number and password, then fill the security code shown on the screen.
3. Click "View Result" to open your CUET UG 2026 scorecard.
4. Download and save the scorecard. You will need it for university admission.

Eligibility (Who Could Appear)

CUET UG 2026 was open to candidates who had passed or were appearing in Class 12 (the 10+2 / Intermediate exam) from any recognized board. There is no age limit to appear in CUET UG. The actual admission rules, subject combinations, and minimum marks are decided by each participating university.

The application fee was paid online during the application stage. The category-wise fee is shown in the Application Fee box above. An extra per-subject charge applied for each additional subject a candidate chose beyond the base fee.

What Your CUET Score Means for Admission

CUET UG does not have one common cut-off. Each university and each course sets its own cut-off during its admission or counselling process, based on the number of seats and the marks of the applicants. So a "good" score depends on the university and course you are targeting. After checking your scorecard, apply to your chosen universities and follow their admission notices for the cut-off and seat-allotment steps.
