UP B.Ed JEE does not work like a simple pass or fail exam. It is a merit-rank exam. Your rank, not just your marks, decides your turn in counselling.

In plain words: a better (smaller) rank number gives you an earlier turn to pick a college and course. Your final seat depends on three things together - your rank, your category, and the college choices you fill during counselling. A popular college fills its seats at a lower rank, while other colleges may take candidates with higher ranks. UP B.Ed JEE 2026 Counselling - The Next Step

Counselling is the process where seats are actually given out on the basis of merit rank. For 2026, online counselling started on 1 July 2026. It is done on the same candidate portal used for the result.
