CUET UG 2026 Result - Overview

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Common University Entrance Test for Under-Graduate courses, known as CUET UG. It is a single national-level entrance test that many central, state, and private universities use to admit students into their under-graduate (bachelor degree) programmes. For the 2026 cycle, NTA held the exam in May and June 2026 and declared the result on 23 June 2026.

Once the result is out, each candidate can download a personal score card. The score card shows your marks and your NTA score (percentile) for every subject you appeared in. This score card is the document that universities ask for during their admission process.

How to Check CUET UG 2026 Result and Score Card

The score card is a personal, login-protected document. You have to log in with your own details to see it. Follow these simple steps:

1. Open the official CUET UG result login link given in the Important Links table above.
2. Enter your application number and date of birth (or password).
3. Type the security PIN shown on the screen and click Submit.
4. Your CUET UG 2026 score card will open on the screen.
5. Check every detail carefully, then download it and save a PDF copy.
6. Take at least two printouts to use during university admission.

Tip: on result day the server can be slow because lakhs of students log in at the same time. If the page does not open, wait for some time and try again from the official link.

What the Score Card Shows

• Your name, roll number, and application number
• Each subject you appeared in
• Marks obtained in each subject
• Your NTA score (percentile) for each subject

CUET UG uses a percentile-based NTA score when an exam is held in more than one shift. Your percentile tells you how you did compared to all other students who took the same subject. For example, a percentile of 90 means you scored better than about 90 out of every 100 students in that subject.

CUET UG 2026 Final Answer Key

Before the result, NTA released a provisional (draft) answer key on 09 June 2026 and gave candidates a short window to raise objections. After checking the objections, NTA published the final answer key on 21 June 2026. The result was then prepared using this final answer key. What Your CUET UG Score Means for Admission

CUET UG does not release one common pass mark or a single national cut-off. Instead, every university sets its own cut-off for each course. So the marks or percentile you need can be different at each university and for each subject combination. A score that is enough for one college may not be enough for another.

After the result, universities open their own admission or counselling process. For example, the University of Delhi uses its CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal, and other universities run their own admission portals. You must apply separately on the portal of the university where you want to study, enter your CUET UG score, and follow that university's schedule. Always use the official website of the university you are targeting.

Application Fee and Eligibility (For Reference)

To appear in CUET UG 2026, a candidate had to pass or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) from any recognized board in India. There was no upper age limit for the exam itself, though a university may set its own age rules for admission. The application fee depended on category, and an extra fee applied for each additional subject a candidate chose (see the Application Fee box above). Fees were paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
