HSSC CET Group C (Advt 06/2026) Overview
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released Advertisement No. 06/2026 to fill 1,238 Group C posts of Warder and Assistant Superintendent Jail in the Haryana Prisons Department. Only candidates who cleared the Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) held under Advt No. 01/2025 were allowed to apply. The online application window ran from 24 June 2026 to 30 June 2026, with a correction window on 1 and 2 July 2026.
HSSC has now released the list of shortlisted candidates and the category-wise cut-off marks for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Shortlisted candidates equal to 25 times the number of vacancies have been called for the PMT. The PMT is scheduled from 6 July 2026 to 11 July 2026. Eligibility (Age and Qualification)
Age is counted as on 30 June 2026. For the Warder post you must be 18 to 25 years old and must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognised board. For the Assistant Superintendent Jail post you must be 21 to 27 years old and must hold a Graduation degree from a recognised university. Both posts also require Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric (Class 10) or higher level. Reserved-category candidates get the usual upper-age relaxation as per Haryana Government rules. You must also have qualified the Haryana CET under Advt No. 01/2025.
Pay Scale
The pay is fixed as per the Haryana Government Pay Matrix. Please treat the figures below as the pay level shown in the official notice.
