BRABU UG Admission 3rd Merit List 2026-30 Overview

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, has released the 3rd Provisional Merit List for its 4-year undergraduate (UG) courses under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for the 2026-30 session. This list is for admission to the first semester of B.A. (Bachelor of Arts), B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) and B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce) courses in the university's constituent and affiliated colleges.

The 3rd list gives one more chance to students who could not get a seat in the first two lists. It is prepared from the seats that are still empty across colleges. You can download your subject-wise merit list and the 3rd cut-off from the links given above on this page.

How to Check Your Name in the 3rd Merit List

Follow these simple steps to find out if you have got a seat:

1. Click the "Download 3rd Provisional Merit List" link above — it opens the official BRABU UG admission page.
2. Choose your course: B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com.
3. Click on your subject to open the subject-wise merit list PDF.
4. On a computer press Ctrl + F, or on a phone use Find in Page, and type your name or application number.
5. If your name is there, download and save the PDF and take a printout for your college visit.

Eligibility for BRABU UG Admission 2026-30

To take admission in the UG (CBCS) courses, you must meet these conditions:

• You must have passed 10+2 (Class 12 / Intermediate) from a recognised board.
• For B.A. and B.Sc., candidates from the matching stream are considered on merit.
• For B.Com., a commerce or science (I.Sc.) background is preferred.
• Selection is based purely on your Class 12 marks in the chosen subject — there is no separate entrance test.

Application Fee

Students paid the registration fee online at the time of applying. General and OBC candidates paid Rs. 600, while SC and ST candidates paid Rs. 300. Payment was accepted through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS and mobile wallets. The exact category-wise amounts are shown in the fee box above.

Documents Required for Admission

If your name is in the 3rd merit list, carry these original documents with one photocopy each to your allotted college for verification and fee payment:

• Class 10 (Matriculation) marksheet and certificate
• Class 12 (Intermediate) marksheet and certificate
• Merit-list printout
• Caste certificate and income certificate (if you claim any reservation)
• Transfer certificate / migration certificate from your last school or board
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Aadhaar card / any valid photo ID

Steps After Your Name Appears

1. Download and print your subject-wise merit list from the links above.
2. Go to your allotted college on the given schedule with all original documents and photocopies.
3. Get your documents checked by the college admission staff.
4. Pay the college admission fee to lock your seat.
5. Keep the fee receipt and the admission slip safe for future use.
