The Bihar 2-Year B.Ed CET (Common Entrance Test for Bachelor of Education) 2026 is the state-level entrance test for admission to the two-year B.Ed course in colleges across Bihar. The counselling is run by the nodal university Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, on behalf of all participating universities in the state.

What "1st Round Seat Allotment" Means

After the CET result was declared, qualified candidates registered for counselling and filled a list of college choices (choice filling). Based on your CET rank, your category, and the choices you gave, the system has now allotted you a college in the first round. To keep that seat, you must pay the seat confirmation fee and complete document verification at the allotted college within the schedule below. If you miss the window, your allotted seat can be cancelled.

Eligibility (Who Could Apply)

To be eligible for the Bihar 2-Year B.Ed CET 2026, a candidate needed a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (relaxation of 5% for reserved categories as per rules). Candidates with a Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology (BE / B.Tech) in Science and Mathematics needed at least 55% marks. The seat you finally get depends on your CET rank, your category, and the college choices you filled.

The seat confirmation fee at first-round allotment isthe seat confirmation fee. This is paid online through the candidate portal to hold your allotted seat, and it is adjusted later against your college admission fee as per the counselling rules.

How to Check Your Seat Allotment

1. Open the official candidate login portal linked in the Important Links table above.
2. Log in with your CET application number and password.
3. Open the "Seat Allotment" or "Allotment Letter" section to see your allotted college.
4. Download and save your allotment letter (PDF).
5. If you want to keep the seat, pay the seat confirmation fee online within 3 to 9 July 2026.
6. Report to the allotted college with your original documents for verification and admission by 10 July 2026.
