The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is the state body that recruits for Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander posts in the Rajasthan Police. Under advertisement number 05/2025-26, RPSC invited applications for 1015 posts. The recruitment has now reached the final stage. The written exam was held on 5 and 6 April 2026, the written result was declared on 19 June 2026, and the interview letter was released on 3 July 2026. Eligibility

Education: You must hold a Bachelor's degree (graduation) in any stream from a recognised university. You should also have a working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and an awareness of Rajasthani culture.

Age limit: The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum age is 25 years, counted as per the cut-off date fixed in the notice. Age relaxation in the upper age limit is given to reserved categories (such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS and women candidates) as per Rajasthan government rules. Since the interview letter stage confirms you already cleared the written exam, your eligibility has been checked, but keep your original certificates ready for document verification.

Pay Scale and Salary

Selected Sub Inspectors and Platoon Commanders are placed in Pay Matrix Level L-11 (Grade Pay 4200) under the Rajasthan pay rules. The pay band under Level L-11 ranges from Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month, plus the allowances that apply as per state rules. The exact in-hand pay depends on your posting, allowances and applicable deductions, so treat the figures above as the official pay level, not a fixed take-home number.

Selection Process

The RPSC SI / Platoon Commander selection has several stages, done in order:

1. Written Examination — two papers, General Hindi (200 marks) and General Knowledge and General Science (200 marks). This was held on 5 and 6 April 2026.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) — running, height and chest measurement as per rules.
3. Personal Interview — the current stage, held from 8 to 17 July 2026.
4. Document Verification — checking of original certificates.
5. Medical Examination — final fitness check before appointment.

The interview letter is a personal, login-protected document, so you must download it yourself from the official RPSC portal. Follow these steps:

3. Log in using your Enrollment Number, Registration Number or Application Number along with your Date of Birth.
4. Your interview letter will open on screen. Check your name, roll number, interview date, reporting time and venue carefully.
5. Download and take a clear printout. Also save a soft copy on your phone as backup.
